Sugar MapleTight-grained, blonde, and impossibly smooth — milled from a single tree on a Mad River farm.
Vermont Heritage Tables celebrate centuries-old traditions of sustainable forestry, family farms, and handcrafted, heirloom-quality woodworking — built one board at a time in our Waitsfield workshop.

Tight-grained, blonde, and impossibly smooth — milled from a single tree on a Mad River farm.

Deep chocolate heartwood with hand-cut dovetailed corners. A statement piece, quietly made.

Warm, ruddy, ages like a violin. Turned pedestal base, oil and wax finish.

We mill our own lumber from selectively harvested Vermont hardwoods, then air-dry it in our barn for eighteen months. Every joint is cut by hand. Every surface is finished with hand-rubbed tung oil.

"We work the way our grandfathers worked — with sharp tools, patience, and respect for a tree that took eighty winters to grow."
